One Person's Trash is Another Person's Treasure
To extend the lifetime of the Landfill, the City of Sheridan Solid Waste Department created the Landfill Mall. The primary purpose of the Mall is to divert usable items such as appliances, windows, doors, bicycles, furniture and more, to an area where they can be purchased by the public.
All items are sold AS IS with no warranty to condition or use. They are on a first come first serve basis and cannot be placed on hold. City staff cannot assist with loading items.
The Landfill Mall is open Monday - Saturday 8am - 5pm
Donations for the Landfill Mall
Donations are welcome, however it is up to the discretion of the Scale House Attendant as to whether it may be accepted based on condition and current inventory. Fabric furniture and mattresses can not be donated.
At this time, there is a charge of $119/ton to place items in the mall. This fee covers the cost to bury donations in the event they do not sell.
